The Civil Engineering Program at Altinbas University is designed with the aim of allowing students to develop their own areas of interest and di erentiate among their peers with a flexible curriculum that also has a large number of elective courses. The Department of Civil Engineering at Altinbas University provides its students both with the fundamentals of engineering science and also the skills necessary for today’s professional civil engineers, including foreign language fluency, teamwork, innovation and entrepreneurship, computer and information technology skills, and communication and presentation skills. We aim to provide a top quality educational program that is interdisciplinary, robust and adaptive to the rapid changes in science and technology, focused not only on the essentials of engineering sciences, but also on generating opportunities for our students by creating a synergy between faculty members, students and practicing professionals where they learn how to approach a problem, learn teamwork, and share and use their knowledge.
